This web page is my very own "Book Report" on In the Spirit of Crazy Horse, by Peter Matthiessen. Convicted on the basis of fabricated and suppressed evidence, as well as coerced testimony, AIM leader Leonard Peltier has been imprisoned for over 34 years for a crime he did not commit. Many people believe that the Peltier case is an issue of "left" versus "right". It's not:
